Charisma, abbreviated as Chr, is a character attribute in Planescape: Torment.
Effects[]
Charisma gives The Nameless One more dialogue options, and can help him earn better monetary rewards. Charisma is useful to chaotic characters.
Charisma also allows for better prices at merchants, depending on TNO's score[1]:

Permanent Gains[]
Aside from increasing Charisma with character points acquired at level up, The Nameless One has some opportunities throughout the game to increase his charisma permanently:
- +2 from Sebastion in the Lower Ward
- +1 from Vivian in the Clerk's Ward's Brothel for Slaking Intellectual Lusts
- +2 from the Gordian Knot, Unique Artifact given by Fhjull Forked-Tongue, in the Outlands. (Permanent +2 to Charisma, Permanent -1 to Wisdom)
- +2 from the Ancient Scroll
That makes the maximum permanent gain to charisma possible +7, +5 without the Ancient Scroll.
Equipment Bonuses[]
Some tattoos grant a bonus to charisma while equipped:
- +1, Tattoo of the Skull
- +1, Tattoo of Presence
- +1, Tattoo of the Redeemer
- +1, Tattoo of Ravel
- +1, Tattoo of the Tale-Weaver
- +2, Tattoo of Greater Presence (Max. 1)
- +2, Tattoo of the Silver Tongue (can be invoked for another +3 chr, total: +5 chr)
- +2, Tattoo of the Source
Some accessories also grant a bonus to charisma:

- +1, "Enlightenment" (Dagger)
- +1, "Reason" (Hammer)
- +1 "Ascension" (Axe)

Only Strength and Charisma can be gained through the use of spells.
- Level 1 Mage spell: Friends can raise Chr by 8. Multiple castings can easily boost charisma to 25. (Doesn't work In the Enhanced Edition.)
