Jonathan "Jon" Gwyn (often credited as Jonathan P. Gwyn) is a video game developer and artist. He has worked on many titles, such as Enter the Matrix, The Matrix: Path of Neo, Resistance 3, GTA 5 and Wasteland 2. Prior to that, he was the main character artist on Sacrifice.
Torment: Tides of Numenera[]
Gwyn was the first full-time environment artist on Torment: Tides of Numenera, and is working on many areas of the game, in particular, the Bloom.[1]
While creating the various areas of the Bloom, he researched images of "cancer, disease, scars, scabs, cysts, gory accidents, and surgery". He drew inspiration in particular from high resolution pictures of a dissected heart, and a collection of tongue cancer images.[1]
