Mediate the Family Dispute

This quest is given to TNO by Kitla at the Traitor's Gate Tavern in Outer Curst. It unlocks the second piece of the Key to the deva's location. Crumplepunch, the blacksmith, and Kester, the distiller (found in Inner Curst), are brothers and both owe her money as well as each other. The problem is that they are arguing over ownership of a legacy they've both inherited.

There are multiple ways TNO can resolve this:

1. Killing both men;
   • This results in a 131.250 XP reward.
2. Retrieving their legacies (either by talking to them or by pickpocketing them) and bringing them back to Kitla so that she can blackmail them;
   • This results in a 150.000 XP reward and both brothers will be unhappy, raising their prices for TNO.
3. Or by intervening in their dispute by asking them to look over their legacies and deciding how their inheritance should be split.
   • If TNO decides the entire inheritance should go to Cumplepunch, it results in a 131.250 XP reward. Crumplepunch will give TNO a discount, but Kester will raise his prices.
   • If TNO decides the entire inheritance should go to Kester, it results in a 131.250 XP reward. Kester will give TNO a discount, but Cumplepunch will raise his prices.
   • If TNO decides to split the inheritance equally between the two brothers, it results in a 150.000 XP reward. Cumplepunch will be happy about the resolution and give TNO a discount, but Kester will be unhappy and will no longer trade with TNO.
   • If TNO decides to hand over their legacies to a third person, it results in a 150.000 XP reward. Both brothers will be unhappy and will raise their prices.

No matter which way the dispute is resolved, Kitla will additionally reward TNO with a Scroll of Abyssal Fury.
