Usable only by mages, this item:
- Casts the 1st level mage spell: Armor, which protects the caster from damage.
- Allows mages to copy the Armor spell into their Spell Book.
The rune can be used once before it disappears.

The Rune of Lesser Warding can be acquired by deconstructing the Giant Skeletons on the first floor of the Mortuary.
